Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the EverWind Green Hydrogen project here in Nova Scotia will have a massive and lasting positive benefit to our community and to our province.
From sustainable revenues to help with hospitals and infrastructure, to jobs that turn into careers, our projects will generate a positive economic impact for Nova Scotia.
We live here, we work here, and we want Nova Scotia to benefit.
By working with Nova Scotia Power, EverWind can contribute meaningfully to the renewable energy supply at times of high electricity usage, particularly in winter months. We are increasing the amount and diversity of renewable energy available in Nova Scotia which, over time, should help to stabilize power rates in the Province and increase choice.
Phase 1 and 2 of our project will contribute over $940 million dollars in direct government revenue that can be invested in priorities that directly benefit Nova Scotians.
Local spending on goods and services during the project’s development, construction and operational phases will increase local economic activity and growth.
We are putting Nova Scotia first by contributing to a community-led vibrancy fund. The fund will allow communities to invest in the initiatives they value and benefit from. The community vibrancy fund will be replenished annually for the lifespan of the project.
Our projects are expected to create over 16,000 direct and indirect jobs. These are skilled jobs like electricians and wind technicians, as well as opportunity in construction, vegetation management, administration and more. To support this, we are investing in a local work force by providing scholarships and skilled employment training to ensure a long-term local workforce.
It’s windy here, and we love it. Generating electricity from the wind is a clean and efficient method that allows us to power everything from our facilities to the equipment needed to create green hydrogen.
Much of the project site is previously disturbed from historical and current forestry activity, recreational activities, and mineral excavation. EverWind is aiming to further minimize the environmental impact of the project by:
Our project is expected to help reduce Canada's greenhouse gas emissions by replacing traditional emitting fuels with green alternatives. By creating green hydrogen in Nova Scotia, we're paving the way for a cleaner, greener future, here at home, and around the world.

A best-in-class green energy platform, our project in Point Tupper, Nova Scotia is on track to become Atlantic Canada's first green ammonia production facility in 2026, unlocking the potential of Nova Scotia's green economy.
We believe in the values of partnership and trust. We know that we can accomplish more together if we work together. In fact a key part of each of our projects is partnership with First Nations communities with equity stake in our projects. This means that success is shared. We’re really proud that the work we do truly benefits First Nations, Nova Scotians and the planet.
Creating green hydrogen is a simple process that requires a great deal of ingenuity and expertise... and electricity! Good thing Nova Scotia has some of the best wind generating conditions on the planet. We use the wind to create green hydrogen that is used to replace uses of fossil fuels. Here’s how it all works:
We are North America's leading independent green hydrogen developer with decades of combined experience.
First to receive Environmental Approval in North America for a large-scale green hydrogen project, we are on a mission to supply the world with green energy solutions with advanced engineering.
Our operations in Nova Scotia are deeply rooted in the community, using local know-how to build a renewable and sustainable source of green energy while also supporting the community we live and work in.
